Editorial Policy
How we report, review, and correct our content.
What we publish
Upload AI is an independent digital publication about artificial intelligence, software, and the ecosystems around them. We publish explainers, reported essays, and practical guides that emphasize clarity: what happened, what is verified, why it matters, and what a careful reader should monitor next.
Our audience includes founders, operators, students, and curious readers who want context beyond hype cycles and launch-day slogans. When we write about models, platforms, regulation, or markets, we foreground evidence, limitations, and trade-offs—especially where incentives, data quality, or deployment constraints change the story.
Purpose and scope
This policy describes how Upload AI approaches accuracy, independence, corrections, and sponsorship transparency. It applies to articles, guides, and other editorial pages produced by our publication.
Accuracy and fairness
We aim to publish accurate information supported by credible sources. We distinguish reporting from analysis and opinion, label speculation clearly, and avoid presenting marketing claims as verified fact. When experts disagree, we summarise the debate proportionally and cite representative sources.
Sourcing
We prefer primary documents, peer-reviewed research where relevant, official datasets, and reputable news organisations. Anonymous sourcing is rare and used only when the information is important, we believe it to be reliable, and identifying the source could cause disproportionate harm—never as a shortcut around verification.
Use of AI tools
When drafting assistance or research tools are used, human editors remain accountable for facts, phrasing, and final publication decisions. We do not publish AI-generated articles without substantive human editing, fact-checking, and clear editorial responsibility.
Corrections
If an error is identified, we correct it promptly. Material corrections are reflected in the article and, where applicable, noted briefly near the top or bottom so readers understand what changed. Typographical or minor clarifications may be updated without a prominent notice when they do not change the meaning of the reporting.
Independence and advertising
Upload AI may display advertisements through third-party networks such as Google AdSense. Advertisers and networks do not influence our editorial agenda, story selection, headlines, or conclusions. Sponsored or affiliate content, if published, will be clearly labelled.
Transparency
We disclose conflicts of interest that could reasonably affect how readers interpret our coverage. Readers may review our About page for mission context and our Privacy Policy for how data is handled when you browse or contact us.
